The Village Crew made quick work of the initial construction of the ice rink this morning! The forms were built, the liner was laid down and secured, the foam bumpers were added, and the rink was flooded in just under two hours. Great job, everyone!
It looks like the weather will cooperate nicely to expedite the freezing process; we are hoping the rink will be open for skating by the middle of next week. For now, please respect the “Rink Closed” signs to ensure the rink will be ready for everyone as soon as possible. Complete information will be available soon, so get your skates ready!
Thank you to Ty Cramer, Bob Bailey, Dan Reidell and Jason Baker for their great work today, and thanks also to our own Mike Luckert, Joe Sheils and Bill Biron for pitching in to help make things go so smoothly.
Can’t wait to skate!
