Why Should Your Child Attend Pre-K at Northville?
Northville Pre-Kindergarten offers a full-day program, running from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. every school day.
State and federal grant funding enables us to offer transportation to all Pre-K students from December through June each school year. Learn more about the Universal PreK lottery system here.
Pre-K at Northville provides your child full participation in a fun and structured learning environment, as well as interaction with elementary school students, activities and staff.
Our Pre-K class is taught by Nicole Valovic, a veteran teacher with a wealth of experience and a kind, caring spirit. Our Pre-K students thrive in the classroom environment they create with Mrs. Valovic’s guidance.
Studies show students who attend a full-day Pre-K program are more fully prepared to enter Kindergarten as engaged and capable learners.
Northville’s Pre-K daily schedule includes:
- Breakfast and lunch
- Daily learning activities centered around math, science, social studies, reading and writing
- Lessons in sharing and citizenship
- Weekly “specials” classes in art, music, library and physical education
