  • Blue Star Mothers Patriotic Care Package Drive

    NCS is collecting items for the Blue Star Mothers of the Capital Region through Veterans Day!

    Donated items will be sent to locally deployed members of the military during the holiday season.

    Please see the attached flyer for a donation list to take part. Donations can be dropped off at the main entrance to the school on Third Street.

    We thank you for your support of local veterans, and we thank all veterans for their service!

    Elementary Hat Day raises money for the PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) program! Each Friday, all ES students and staff may wear a hat for a $1 donation.

    All NCSD BOE meetings are open to the public. Members of the public are welcome to attend meetings in the lower-level BOE conference room next to the school library media center.

  • "A" Day - Emergency Early Release Drill

    There will be an Emergency Early Release Drill on Tuesday, November 24. 

    • Dismissal will be 15 minutes earlier than usual. 
    • Buses will be dropping off students earlier, so please plan ahead.
    • Walkers will be dismissed at approximately 2:20. 
    • Thanksgiving Recess is November 25-27.
