Ms. Carolyn Wilcox – President

A Northville graduate, Ms. Wilcox is a 21-year United States Air Force (AF) veteran. Her roles in the AF revolved around the U.S. nuclear treaty mission. Upon leaving the AF, Ms. Wilcox completed her bachelor’s degree in management followed by a master’s in adult education. She worked in college administration for 10 years. She is the current President of the NCSD Board of Education and is an active member of the Sacandaga Valley Arts Network (SVAN). She is the artist and owner of Silver Maple Stained Glass. Her goal is to serve the students, parents, taxpayers, and community at large to the best of her abilities. Ms. Wilcox is very proud of her adult children who live throughout the U.S., but have always called Northville home.

 

Ms. Arlène Rambush – Vice President

Ms. Rambush is a former FMCC Associate Professor of Humanities.  She has served on the boards of Sacandaga Valley Arts Network and Hamilton County Cooperative Extension.  She is a weaver and painter, teaches weaving, and also maintains the Presbyterian Church Community Garden.  Ms. Rambush believes Board of Education work is the most important community service to engage in, so we provide to all children the best possible preparation for life and career.

 

 

Mr. Michael Luckert – Trustee

Mr. Luckert moved to the district with his wife, Lauren, in 2015 because they were looking for a good place to raise a family. Mike and Lauren currently have one daughter who is in kindergarten. Beyond enjoying the community aspects Northville has to offer, as outdoor enthusiasts, the area also provides the family with easy access to endless activities. Mr. Luckert has 20 years of experience in the construction trades, including 9 years as a Construction Inspector for Verizon. Most recently, he worked in the collision repair industry as a New York State licensed independent adjuster. Additionally, he coached high school wrestling for 12 years at both the modified and varsity levels. He volunteered to be on the Board of Education out of a desire to serve the community and help improve the district in any way possible.

 

Mr. Dean Shepard – Trustee

A graduate of Johnstown High School, Mr. Shepard moved to Northville in 1977 after leaving the military. He spent over three years in the US Army assigned to NATO HQ in Brussels, Belgium. He started and owned multiple companies until his retirement, including Convenient Corner Stores, Rode Fuel Sites, Robin Oil, CDL Freedom, Avery Realty, and most recently Shepard Oil Co. A person committed to the community and to giving back, he was a member of the Northville Volunteer Ambulance Squad, served as assistant chief of the Northville Volunteer Fire Department and was one of the founding members of Sacandaga Helping Hands.

Mr. Sira retired as Captain of the Gloversville Police Department after 28 years of service. He has lived in the district for 32 years and has three children who are all Northville Central School graduates. Mr. Sira holds a master’s degree in public administration from Marist College.
