Mr. Sira retired as Captain of the Gloversville Police Department after 28 years of service. He has lived in the district for 32 years and has three children who are all Northville Central School graduates. Mr. Sira holds a master’s degree in public administration from Marist College.

Sarada (Sass) Junquera proudly serves on the Northville CSD Board of Education, bringing over 14 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and financial management, working closely with organizations to ensure transparency, accountability, and strong financial practices. Coupled with earlier experience conducting school district audits (including Northville CSD), she has gained firsthand insight into the financial responsibilities and challenges facing public schools and taxpayers. A committed member of the Northville community, Sarada is a local homeowner and parent of four children, two of whom currently attend the district and two destined to be future Falcons. She is deeply invested in the future of Northville’s school and is committed to supporting students, strengthening the district, and ensuring responsible stewardship of community resources. Sarada is proud to serve and looks forward to continuing to support the students, families, and staff who make Northville such a special place.

 

Mr. John Knapp – Trustee

Mr. Knapp brings his career experience from public education and private industry.  He was a middle school Science teacher and also worked at IBM for customer software main frame support for million- and billion-dollar customers. He was also a main frame software instructor for IBM internal and external education. Mr. Knapp’s leadership roles are from both outside and inside public education.  Outside leadership roles included Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Youth Soccer, Team Leader in IBM, Vice President in a local Senior Task Force, and President of a local neighborhood residential association. Inside public education leadership roles were Middle School Science Coordinator in the Beacon City School District (one year), Vice President on the Hyde Park Central School District Board of Education (3 years) and 6 years of service on the Northville Central School District Board of Education.  During his years on the Boards of Education, Mr. Knapp was involved in Union Negotiations and various committees such as Technology, Sports, and Curriculum.
